L Word Through the Eyes of a Love Coach: The Final Season, Episode 5
Did you get the feeling, in watching last night’s show, that the energy moving towards Jenny’s death is quickening? I did. I’d say she is pretty well ‘sealing the deal’ on her fate with her latest antic: stealing Alice’s screenplay and selling it for half a million. And then totally denying doing the ‘lifting’.
Certainly Alice alone had enough motive to choke Jenny on the spot, but she didn’t. Instead she and Shane seem totally unsure how to handle their friendship, now that Jenny has thrown a huge wrench in it. Seems some coaching from a ‘lesbian friendship expert’ might be in order here, eh? 
Things got super steamy between Helena and what’s-her-name? Was it Dusty? However, me thinks Helena is holding back, most notably during the lovemaking scene. Just seemed ‘flat’ in the passion area to me. Usually ‘makeup sex’ is a lot peppier! Perhaps too much water over the bridge of trust in that duo?
Speaking of Jenny, her possessivness is rearing it’s ugly head as she seeks to keep Shane on a shorter leash than Shane likes. Shane is getting pretty pissed off about it all and, did you see the previews? It looks like Shane is about to stray for the thousandth time…
Lastly, how about that scene in the restaurant where Bette goes to lambast the movie producer, Tina comes over to stop her and then takes over after the producer says something about being so glad he is no longer working with the lesbians!
Before that, in the dinner table scene with Bette, Tina, Kelly Wentworth and that artist guy, I thought Kelly’s behavior was totally disrespectful and dismissive of Tina as she talked about her desires for Bette right in front of her. Tina took it well.
Hard to believe all of this ‘high drama’ is about to become even more frenzied with a ‘coming to the head’ in a few weeks.
