Communicating more effectively and managing your time in a hyper-connected world

I’ve been stepping back, more than usual lately to take time to, what do they call it, assimilate, or reflect, on my life and my work.  Life today is SO interesting and so stimulating, particularly for business owners like myself, who are courageously out there doing something very unique they are passionate about.  But that stimulation for me can also become TOO overwhelming.  How about you?  How are you responding (and, possibly, for worse – reacting) to today’s hyper-connected world?

For example, I had an opportunity last night to listen to some inspiring coaching recordings.  Yes!  It’s true.  It shouldn’t surprise you that even coaches need coaching!  Coaches especially need coaching and support because our work is about being there for others.

There is great truth in the danger of not being aware that your cup is running on empty.  I’ve noticed that if my cup is getting low, I am not as effective.  I’ve even seen others try to help others when their cup is ‘on empty’ and having it back fire on them.
